wildflowers
A while back, my mom and I took a trip to see the wild flowers in Death Valley. We we expecting to see fields after fields of wild flowers. Instead we found meager rows of wild flowers along the highway. We both had set our expectations far to high and we ended up missing out on some beautiful flowers.
I think that life is like that sometimes. We have an idea of what we want from out life and we spend all of our time and efforts looking for ways to get ourselves to that point. In the end, we miss out on the beautiful things along the journey. So heres to a new resolution to find the wildflowers along the way.
Those pictures turned out great. You would not know that there were only a few of them and not in Death Valley. You are getting really good. It was a fun time even though it was not what we expected. Good times!
