For my spring break, I asked my Mom if she could come and visit me. The last few months have been terribly hard, and I just wanted to spend a little time with my best friend of a mother. She flew in town this past weekend, and we have been enjoying our time doing projects around the house, shopping and taking a little road trip to death valley.
It was a quick drive spent talking about everything.
It was one of those times when it didn't really matter what we were going to see,
but we were enjoying every minute that we could spend talking.
My Mom was extremely willing to let me take pictures of her...if only Luke were so willing.
I had so much fun, and it was exactly the girl time that I have been needing!
Next time I am going to bring more sunscreen, even in March, Death Valley is HOT!
Yeah, we went to Bryce Canyon this month, and we got FRIED. Lesson learned. Maybe.
